The problem

Small food businesses leave margin on the table with every order: the cashier has no time to suggest add-ons, and the POS systems on the market are either expensive or demand integrations and a PCI scope a small shop cannot take on.

The solution

I built a complete point of sale in Next.js on top of Supabase — Postgres, auth and storage — with a register, a catalogue with costs and margins, stock control, a live order board and a self-service kiosk. Subscriptions are billed through PayPal and the whole thing deploys to Vercel. The recommendation engine learns from the merchant's actual menu and answers on a single endpoint; if the AI does not respond in time it falls back to best sellers, so the screen never freezes. Only product IDs and prices travel, which keeps the system entirely out of PCI-DSS scope.

The result

A multi-tenant SaaS in production with a free trial, real-time analytics, billing and no-code onboarding. It stands on its own — there is no other POS behind it.
