The problem
An important notification gets buried under dozens of daily alerts. Existing alerting apps cannot tell who is writing or which app it came from, and they stop working exactly when they are needed most: with the phone locked or the app killed.
The solution
A hybrid architecture. Flutter handles the interface, the rules, local storage and purchase state; a native Kotlin layer runs a NotificationListenerService that intercepts system notifications, matches them against the rule database in real time and launches fullscreen alerts even when the device is locked or the app is not in memory. Rules filter by application and by contact, with separate triggers for messages and calls.
The result
A published app monetised through RevenueCat subscriptions and AdMob. The rule schema has been through four iterations with automatic backward migration, so no update has ever broken a user's configuration, and a triple guard — reactive in Dart, proactive on boot and defensive in Kotlin — keeps premium state consistent even offline.
